MLA Mable Elmore Member for Vancouver-Kensington

Lord Jesus, we pray for wisdom for MLA Mable Elmore as she advocates for social justice.  That she would know what is in the best interest of this province, and that her motivation would always be out of compassion and love for those who are in need.  We pray that You would surround her with supporters that are righteous and true.  Please guide her steps, and keep her healthy and safe.

Mable Elmore was elected MLA for Vancouver-Kensington on May 12, 2009.

Mable serves as opposition critic for Multiculturalism and deputy critic for Children, Family Development and Child Care.

Mable has been a transit operator for 10 years, driving a bus in Metro Vancouver while taking a role in her union, the Canadian Auto Workers Local 111, where she coordinated the "More Buses Now" campaign to improve public bus transit.

Mable is a second generation Filipino-Canadian who has also been active in the peace movement and on immigrant, social justice, women's and gay, lesbian and transgendered issues.
