A massive rock and mudslide caused by a melting glacier has resulted in an evacuation warning being posted for Pemberton. The warning affects over 4000 people. We recognize that God is always in control and that this slide and threat is not a surprise to Him. We ask you to pray that there will be no loss of life in this situation and that God will keep His hand upon every aspect of this situation and that He would grant wisdom to protection services and those who will be making critical decisions in this matter.
UPDATE!
The evacuation has been lifted as of this afternoon. There has been no damage to property or loss of life. Two missing hikers were found safe.
