MLA: Norm Macdonald - Columbia River-Revelstoke


Our gracious Heavenly Father, we thank You this morning for MLA: Norm Macdonald and appreciate a man of his calibre as he serves the people of his riding with integrity and diligence. We pray You will bless him with the abundance of Your grace as he serves as Opposition critic for Forests and Range and reward him with honour and favour for his involvement to protect our natural resources in this province. We pray You will refresh and uplift his spirit today, Dear Father.  May you keep him and his family in good health and give them happy quality time with one another. In Jesus Name. Amen

Norm Macdonald was re-elected as the MLA for Columbia River-Revelstoke on May 12, 2009. He was first elected to the Legislature in 2005.


Norm serves as opposition critic for Forests and Range.

Recently the principal of Nicholson Elementary School, Norm has taught for more than 15 years in the Columbia Valley.

He has a further six years experience teaching in Africa.

Norm served as a Councillor and was then elected Mayor of Golden in 1996.

Norm Macdonald lives in Golden with his wife Karen and two teenage daughters.
