MLA Adrian Dix - Vancouver Kingsway

Today we are praying for Adrian Dix, member for Vancouver-Kingsway. 
Almighty God, Today we have the privilege of interceding on behalf of Adrian Dix. Thank You Lord for Adrian's talent and passion for people, communities, language education, government strategies, and media commentating that You have placed within him. We ask that You would give Mr. Dix great wisdom and understanding as he goes forth in his appointment as Opposition Caucus Deputy Leader and Opposition Critic for Health. Thank You God for the gift of communication that Adrian has been entrusted with. Place others in his life that would be an encouragement to him as he endevours to do his very best.


We pray that shower Your blessings upon Adrian this day and every day of 2009.

Adrian Dix was elected as the MLA for Vancouver Kingsway on May 17, 2005.  Adrian is the Opposition Caucus Deputy House Leader, and serves as Opposition Critic for Health.

Adrian has extensive experience as a non-profit director, education community leader, government strategist and media commentator.

For the past five years, Adrian travelled the province as Executive Director of Canadian Parents for French – BC and Yukon Branch, a non-profit organization promoting language education.


Adrian is a commentator on public policy whose regular columns were published in the Victoria Times-Colonist and The Source, a Vancouver multicultural newspaper. Over the past five years, he was regularly called upon to present views on public policy issues for local, provincial, national and international media.


Adrian also served as the Chief of Staff to Premier Glen Clark from 1996 to 1999.
Adrian grew up in Vancouver, graduated from University of British Columbia and now lives in the Collingwood neighbourhood
