Heavenly Father, we come to you today for Bruce Ralston, the MLA for Surrey - Whalley.

Lord, we come to you for a man who understands law and finance. Someone who is not afraid to step up to the plate and use his abilities on councils and boards.

We come to you to ask that as 'the letter kills but the spirit gives life' you will fill Mr Ralston with your Spirit. We ask that your breeze will blow on his life, his work, his relationships, and his thoughts and ideas. That it will be a cleansing Spirit and a refreshing Spirit.

Father, you care for all people in British Columbia. We so need to be governed by men and women of character and understanding: We ask that Mr Ralston will become a rock in your government, solid, dependable, open to seeing both sides, and yet always giving a verdict that comes from your heart.

Blow on him, Holy Spirit, we ask. Speak to him and through him that all who hear may be able to enact your will.

In Jesus' Name we ask. Amen.
