MLA: Norm Macdonald

Heavenly Father, thank you for blessing Norm MacDonald for a second term in office as MLA for Columbia-Revelstoke. Give him the strength and stamina to be an effective Opposition Critic for Education. We thank you for his past background as a principal and teacher for many years. We pray that he stands up to what is just and best for childrens’ education in BC. Bless and protect him and his family in Golden.

Norm Macdonald was re-elected as the MLA for Columbia River-Revelstoke on May 12, 2009. He was first elected to the Legislature in 2005.

Norm serves as opposition critic for Forests and Range.

Recently the principal of Nicholson Elementary School, Norm has taught for more than 15 years in the Columbia Valley. He has a further six years experience teaching in Africa. Norm served as a Councillor and was then elected Mayor of Golden in 1996. Norm Macdonald lives in Golden with his wife Karen and two teenage daughters.
