MLA: Kathy Corrigan

Draw her close to you Lord in these days, may she hear your voice speaking to her,guiding her thoughts as she is about the business of goverment.Give her strength, focus and wisdom as she seeks to make right choices . May her mind be sharp and resolute in the face of adversity and may she not be swayed in the authority given her. Thankyou Lord for equipping her for the task ahead.In Jesus name Amen.
 
Kathy Corrigan was elected as MLA for Burnaby-Deer Lake on May 12, 2009. 
Kathy serves as opposition critic for the Olympics and ActNow BC.
Kathy Corrigan has lived in Burnaby for more than 30 years. She has served for nine years on the Burnaby school board and was chair of the board for two years.
Her involvement in the community includes serving on parent advisory committees, coaching and supporting sports teams, and writing a column on education for the Burnaby NOW.
Kathy Corrigan is a lawyer by training and has worked as a policy analyst, specializing in social, labour and trade policy.
Kathy and husband Derek Corrigan, who is the Mayor of Burnaby, have raised four children.
