MLA Norm MacDonalad - Columbia River-Revelstoke

Today we are praying for Norm MacDonald, the member for Columbia River-Revelstoke.
Norm Macdonald was elected as the MLA for Columbia River-Revelstoke on May 17, 2005.

Norm serves as Opposition Critic for Education.  Recently the principal of Nicholson Elementary School, Norm has taught for more than 15 years in the Columbia Valley. He has a further six years experience teaching in Africa.
Norm served as a Councillor and was then elected Mayor of Golden in 1996. Norm's leadership helped strengthen the community’s traditional industries while diversifying the economy through development of the value-added and tourism sectors.

Norm Macdonald lives in Golden with his wife Karen and two teenage daughters.

We give thanks for Norm MacDonald ‘s teaching gift that has been used here in Canada and abroad. We give thanks for the leadership qualities that he walks in and ask that he would continue to be used both in leadership and in teaching. Here is a man with much to offer so we pray for doors of opportunity to be opened for him to be used in greater ways throughout the year 2009. We pray for opportunities of mentorship that will bring people into Norm’s sphere of influence and that will be blessing to him as well as to others. We pray that all would be well within his family and that his family would continue to be a strong support to him.
