Premier Gordon Campbell announced last night.B.C. Agriculture Minister Stan Hagen died suddenly onTuesday.Mr. Hagen was MLA for Comox Valley, had served in several ministries after first being elected in 1986.
"He was the embodiment of what we call an honourable member of the legislature," Campbell told The Province. "He never thought a bad thought about anybody. It is pretty shocking."
Along with many others, we want to extend our prayers and condolences to Mr. Hagen's wife and family. As a Christian, Mr. Hagen knew the power of prayer in his own life and we encourage our many prayer partners to remember his family at this time.
